Astoria Playa Overview

Alcúdia's port in the north of Mallorca is on the beautiful bay of Alcúdia which is edged with a strip of soft white sand about 6 to 8 kilometres long depending who you ask, and with very safe bathing. It's an excellent holiday destination in a resort that offers plenty of amenities without some of the extreme behaviour experienced elsewhere.

The Hotel Astoria Playa is very popular with past guests who particularly praise the friendly and helpful staff. It's located a short walk from the beach, unfortunately just on the inland side of the busy main road.

This is medium sized three star hotel, with 162 double rooms and 24 singles, all with air conditioning, heating, telephone, safe, terraces with views to the gardens or pool areas, and complete private bathrooms.

Astoria Playa Restaurants & Bars

Air conditioned restaurant presenting buffet services for breakfast and dinner, which feature a wide range of local and international dishes. Gala themed diners are held once weekly. There's also a rustic snack bar in the garden offering refreshments, snacks and light meals.

Astoria Playa Facilities

There's a spacious swimming pool for adults and a separate one for children, who also have a play area. Musical performances, live shows and animation for adults and kids are presented on the large lounge terrace.
