Ideally located just 9 kilometres from Palma, Golf Park Puntiró is an 18 hole par 71 course created by the legendary Jack Nicklaus Design company. The first thing that strikes you when playing this course is the nice wide fairways enabling you to take a driver off most of the tees. However, if you do happen to go wayward the coarse rough makes it almost impossible to find your ball and following a good tee shot you will need to focus as you play into small and challenging greens. For those players looking to test themselves against the full wits of the Nicklaus Design company then the back tees will certainly present you with a variety of difficulties to overcome, making high-precision shots a necessity.
Golf Park Puntiró has been designed to highlight and blend in with the natural environment, sitting on 165 acres of land the Park makes for a great ‘golf zone’ just outside of the city of Palma. The course is surrounded by and integrated with the natural vegetation composed of the likes of wild olive trees, pine trees, carob-trees and bushes that are all ready and waiting to swallow up your golf ball given the opportunity. The course has two gigantic man-made lakes that provide a firm challenge for holes 7, 8, 15 & 16. Combined with the potential for strong winds this will test the best of players and will certainly provide for a memorable round.

| Golf Park Puntiró is located in a beautiful area only 9 kilometres from the city of Palma. From the Via Cintura (highway Ma-20), take the Ma-15 highway towards Manacor. At the big roundabout next to the fuel storage depot, turn left onto the Ma-30. Cross one roundabout and, at the second one, turn right towards S'Hostalot on the Ma-3011 Sineu road. Follow this road to just after the 9km marker and you will find Golf Park Puntiró on the right hand side. |
