Hospes Maricel Mallorca

Hospes Maricel Hotel is an impressive 5 star hotel combining a 16th Century exterior with a 21st Century interior located just outside the centre of Palma. The hotel is set right on the waters’ edge and even has its own jetty. Guests can enjoy a massage in the private stone arches above the sea or swim in the stunning infinity pool but perhaps the highlight of the hotel is the breakfast, voted in 2004 as the ‘Best Breakfast in the World’ which is not to be missed with a lie in.

There are total of 29 rooms in the hotel including 5 suites. Rooms are modern with wooden floors and simple, contemporary furniture in white and black. Bathrooms are sparkling, light and contain huge stand alone baths and separate showers. Internet connection is available.

The Senzone Restaurant serves gourmet creative cuisine in a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere. Decorated in a similar vein to the rooms of the hotel with whites, creams the restaurant has two independent dining areas and a terrace facing out over the sea.

The Senzone Lounge & Cocktail Bar is the very trendy hotel bar with low level leather seating and a full menu of inventive cocktails and drinks to enjoy. The pool bar serves a selection of sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit juices, ice creams and other snacks whilst you relax around the stunning pool area and its stone arches.

Even the breakfasts are a gourmet fair with no buffet or set menu, guests receive a daily selection of treats depending on what ingredients are in season. Numerous courses are introduced so the experience can last as long as you wish until you have to reluctantly give in. Courses might included aromatic breads with sweet or salty butter, pastries, fruits, milkshakes, tasty mixed juices, chocolates or the much praised shot glass of onion, tomato and quail egg.

The Bodyna Spa and Wellness Centre includes an impressive infinity swimming pool, a covered swimming pool, a sauna, steam rooms, a gym and rooms for pilates and relaxation. Treatments such as massages, masks, facials , anti-aging products, waxing, manicure and pedicure. Business and events can be held in either of the two Utmost function rooms.
