Within the capital, Palma de Mallorca, services are operated by the Empresa Municipal de Transports (Municipal Transport Company). This company also operates some special services, such as the Tren Turistic, which runs along the 6 kilometres of beach between Can Pastilla and S’Arenal. A feature of the bus and train services in Mallorca is the major hub at the Plaça d'Espanya, where all the services come together. This point is very central to many places of interest in Palma, including the main shopping streets.
